Finding Your Way Through The Clouds

You may have been on an Airline in the clouds and somehow managed to land on the runway. You probably thought to yourself that you couldn't see anything outside. How did that pilot land on the runway? Great question!!! The reality is that the pilot cant see outside either. We have been trained to utilize technology to line us up on the runway and accurately descend down to a runway. It is a pretty cool system called an Instrument Landing System or ILS for short.
